i have seen a lot of indian films but hum dil de chuka sanam really stands out. it has the greatest music and i loved the traditional setting of most of the movie

Fri, January 11, 2008 - 6:29 AMWell, if you haven't seen them already, you can check out some of my favs: Devdas, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Lagaan. Beautiful music and amazing dance choreographies. -

Fri, January 11, 2008 - 7:39 AMI second the above mentioned films. Devdas in particular, like Hum Dil De Chike Sanam, also features Aishwarya Rai and the plot revolves around an epic love story.
A more recent film with Aishwarya that I quite liked was Guru which features Aishwarya with hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
Speaking of plots involving love triangles, the Shahrukh Khan-Rani Mukherjee blockbuster Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna also deals with interlocking love relationships although it is set in modern times (parts filmed in NYC). The songs from this film are quite haunting and memorable.
